My Story

Oriana is a singer, songwriter, violinist, actress and cabaret host.
Born and raised in France with multicultural roots, she trained at the conservatoire in music and ballet before relocating in the UK ten years ago and she has since established herself internationally as a performer with her jazz band in venues such as The Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Stadium, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, The Carlton in Cannes with The London Cabaret Club, in the Middle East, or with her 5 star show 'Piaf Remember' at the Edinburgh festival.
‘Moving to the UK allowed me to be myself in so many ways! It’s the best creative decision I’ve ever made.’
Her debut album ‘Because I’m French’, produced by Koby Israelite, was a 2020 Grammy award contender, and their original song 'Comme des Vieux' was featured in Kylie Jenner's series 'Life of Kylie' on E!, allowing her to make an impact in the US market.
In 2018 and 2019, she was selected as a TV judge in order to appear on the BBC 1 show ‘All together now’ alongside spice girl Geri Halliwell and host Rob Beckett.
She has also appeared on French national TV in the programs 'French in the city' and '66 Minutes' (M6), hosted by former footballer David Ginola, and on other UK TV shows such as the 'X factor' or 'Joe Lycett's got your back' on Channel 4.
Wanting to move and inspire with her music, she is a strong advocate for empowering women to work hard and follow their dreams, but she is also passionate about reducing the stigma around mental health in today’s society. Oriana has also supported and collaborated with charities such as Barnardo’s, BBC Children in need and BAPAM.
She has also been featured as a supporting actress in many films and series, such as The fantastic beasts, War machine, A streetcat named Bob, Florence Foster Jenkins, The Aeronauts,The Crown, The One and only Ivan, just to name a few...
Mostly known as a jazz, French chanson and cabaret performer, Oriana has recently released her new EP 'Curlsworld', produced by Joe Rodwell, which explores new electronic sounds and leads her towards new musical adventures. She signed the track 'T'en va pas' (part of the S-project) and her song 'Cold War' with the leading Spanish dance label 'Blanco y Negro'. Her work has been widely used with sync libraries all over the world.
Hosting many cabaret shows around London like the 'Black Cat Cabaret' , 'Big Band Burlesque' or 'Oohlala', she started producing her own cabaret show "Le Petit Cabaret of Oriana Curls' at the Underbelly Boulevard in March 2025.
